Vintage Ribbon Brooch Pin with Pearls 18K Gold

This ribbon is already tied up and ready to wear. This vintage piece is made of solid 18kt yellow gold ribbon with blue enamel on its surface and the center is made of 18kt white gold where the pearls are encrusted. The pearls measure about 6mm each and are cultured saltwater white pearls with pink overtones. They exhibit high luster and excellent nacre. The ribbons intense colors contrast beautifully against the white pearls as the blue enamel is absolutely exquisite in quality and color. A filigree gold detail has been inlaid into the enamel which creates a whimsical design. One of the gold filigree designs is partially missing yet is hard to notice. The pin weighs 16.4 grams and measures 1 7/8" in length and just over 1" in width. It is in excellent condition.
